"ArcEditor" adds the ability to create and edit data and to do interconversions between raster and vector data formats. "ArcView" provides basic mapping functionality. The "Toolbox" available in ArcMap provides an encyclopedic array of GIS data manipulation and analysis functions for almost any application.ĪrcMap is included in three versions of ArcGIS Desktop, each with an increasing array of capabilities. It is most widely used for map creation, but also has broad capabilities for editing and analysis. NET.ArcMap is the map display and editing workhorse for the ESRI ArcGIS Geographical Information System (GIS) software package. Full support for UWP apps on Windows 10 will be provided in the next major release (Quartz) of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for. It does not support use in a Windows 8.1 Store app deployed on Windows 10 or in a Windows 10 Universal (UWP) app. This release includes support for developing with Visual Studio 2015 and deploying Windows Desktop (WPF) apps on Windows 10.

New network analysis tasks have been added for determining service areas and closest facilities along a network, and several improvements have been made to KML layers.
This release includes enhancements to 3D mapping that provide a better scene interaction experience for the user, more efficient tile and surface rendering, and improved label display. The 10.2.7 release of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET is now available to download from the ArcGIS for Developers web site and to reference via NuGet.
